Tom Stamatakis – ICPRA Chairman

Mr. Stamatakis has sat on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Police Association (CPA) since 2003, and served as Vice-President of the organization since 2005 and acclaimed President for a second term in September 2014.

He also serves as President of both the Vancouver Police Union (VPU), as well as the British Columbia Police Association (BCPA).

Mr. Stamatakis has been a Constable with the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) for approximately 25 years, where he enjoyed a variety of ‎assignments prior to his secondment to the VPU.

He also sits on the boards of Covington Capital, “Odd Squad” Productions and a variety of provincial and federal policing working groups and committees.

 


 

Calum Steele – ICPRA General Secretary

Calum Steele is the General Secretary of the Scottish Police Federation having been first elected to the role in June 2008.

Calum joined Northern Constabulary in 1993 and has over 19 years police service. In addition to his role within the SPF, Calum is in his fourth year as Deputy Staff Side Secretary of the Police Negotiating Board (PNB) where pay, pensions and conditions of service for all of the United Kingdom’s 160,000 police officers are negotiated and agreed. Calum is also in his second term as the General Secretary of the International Council of Police Representative Associations (ICPRA) which is a body bringing together over 1.5 million police members from 43 police unions spanning nearly 30 countries and four continents.

Calum is married to Claire and has two children; Emma and Ruairidh.
